I saw Seth Rogen at the Oscars last night and he has slimmed down considerably. Even without the extra pounds, however, he still does not look like a super hero. I've also heard him say in interviews that they are trying to do a serious take on the Green Hornet and not a spoof. Regardless, I just don't know how successful such a film can be with young viewers when the character's biggest fame was on the radio and the TV show is over 40 years old. If the show had been in heavy rotation in syndication like Batman, maybe younger people would be aware of it, but it wasn't. The movie will have to stand on its own merits if the studio has any hope of making any money off it.
